Figure and model manufacturer Good Smile Company will be releasing a Nendoroid figure of main character Chris Redfield from survival horror video game Resident Evil.

Video game series Resident Evil, known as the Biohazard series in Japan, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The super-deformed Nendoroid figure depicts Raccoon City S.T.A.R.S. member Chris Redfield, protagonist of the first Resident Evil game.

The figure, produced in Good Smile Company’s domestic “Lucky Factory” in Kurayoshi, Tottori Prefecture, reproduces Chris’s military-style S.T.A.R.S. uniform in detail, and includes a rocket launcher with removable firing effect part, handgun, knife, and Green Herb. Also included are standard and grimacing facial expression parts, produced with a more defined bridge of the nose for a masculine appearance.

The figure’s initial production run will include an exclusive display base printed with the Resident Evil 20th Anniversary logo. It retails for 4,630 yen, and will be released in March 2017.
