“Yoshitaka Amano Exhibition”: The world of creation and track of fantasy

Exhibition of Yoshitaka Amano, creator famous for various character designs of animation and games, will be held at Yurakucho Asahi Gallery from January 29th.

His work includes illusory and bewitching style of “Final Fantasy” series and contrastingly pop and colorful style of “Time Bokan” and “Candy Girl”.

This exhibition will show original works from all “Final Fantasy” series with their packages, as well as explanation on character designs of his roots-works, “Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets)” and “The Adventures of Hutch the Honeybee”. Other works over hundred includes “N.Y SALAD” and latest fine art series “Candy Girl”.

Exhibition is held until March 8th, open throughout the period. Open-hours are 11AM to 8PM; entries are accepted until 7:30PM. Entrance fees are: free for children under junior high school, 1,000 yen for adults, 900 yen for university students, 800 yen for high school students and elderly over 65. Advance tickets and groups over 20 are given 200 yen discount.
