“Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” Lottery Returns for Second Installment

On December 12th, the “Minna no Kuji” (“Everyone’s Lottery”) prize drawing launched their second contest series based on anime series “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?”
Based on a light novel series with 3.7 million volumes in print, the TV anime series, abbreviated in Japanese as “DanMachi”, broadcast its first season in April through June 2015. One of the series’ heroines, Hestia, went on to become a breakout character.
For the current lottery, both the first prize and the prize for the last ticket drawn at each participating location are a “noodle stopper” figure of Hestia. The figure is designed to sit atop instant noodle containers to hold the lid closed. Other prizes include super-deformed figures, transparent posters, and other items depicting the series’ popular characters. A Twitter promotion for the lottery will run until January 11th, awarding a prize of a series script autographed by the voice cast.
Tickets can be purchased for 650 yen each. They are available at hobby shops and bookstores across Japan.
