Katsuya Terada exhibition main visual
The museum located inside Fukushima Gainax, the managing company of animation studio Gainax, will be holding an exhibition featuring artist Katsuya Terada starting October 31st.
The exhibition is a revamped version of an event held at the Kyoto Manga Museum in 2013. Terada is best known for his work as character designer on video games such as Virtua Fighter 2, Tekken 5, and the Legend of Zelda series, as well as the Blood: The Last Vampire animated film and a variety of comics and other publications.
The exhibition is centered on Terada’s works from the 2000s, with highlights including gigantic reproductions of his artwork printed on fusuma Japanese sliding screens, similar to those exhibited at the Kyoto event. Terada’s newest book will also be available for purchase at the event, which will explore the most recent artistic achievements in his career.
The event will run until January 31st, 2016. Additional details will be announced at a later date.
