“Tokyo Ghoul” Event Comes to Tokyo Joypolis
A special event based on anime series “Tokyo Ghoul” will be held at indoor Odaiba, Tokyo amusement park Tokyo Joypolis starting on October 22nd.
The event, which is promoting upcoming anime OVAs “Tokyo Ghoul: Jack” and “Tokyo Ghoul: Pinto”, recreates a ghoul hideout, immersing visitors in the world of the anime series. A special movie will be playing on the event’s main stage using projection mapping technology, and a variety of crossover events with existing attractions are being planned, as well as sales of limited edition merchandise.
Joypolis is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with last admission at 9:15 PM. Admission is 800 yen for adults and 300 yen for students. A “passport”, which includes admission and unlimited use of rides, is 3,900 yen for adults and 2,900 yen for students. The event will run until January 11th, 2016.
