Motoko’s Schrodinger Assault Rifle from New Ghost in the Shell Movie Becomes Real-Life Airsoft Gun
Motoko Kusanagi’s newest assault rifle is available as a fully-functional Airsoft gun.
Airsoft gun custom parts manufacturer LayLax will be releasing a gun based on the Schrodinger assault rifle carried by Motoko Kusanagi and Batou from the new Ghost in the Shell movie.
The gun will be released in two versions: a fully-functional “Deluxe Automatic Electric Gun (AEG) Version” that includes an electric gearbox for firing actual projectiles, and a “Standard Version” consisting of only the gun body. The functional rifle is perfect for real-life survival games and other Airsoft battles.
The deluxe version retails for 158,000 yen, while the standard version costs 99,800 yen, plus tax. The guns are scheduled for release in late July.
The gun can be displayed indoors or used in real-life survival games.
