Japanese dessert restaurant Sweets Paradise is currently serving a selection of items at 8 store locations based on popular character Danboard from manga series “Yotsuba&!”.

The “Yotsuba & Danboard Cafe”, which made its first appearance last year at Nagoya’s Parco, will be serving a variety of Danboard desserts, as well as selling limited edition merchandise such as a Danboard transparent file folder (260 yen). Customers who purchase food or drink from the Danboard menu will also receive a Danboard coaster.

The 8 stores participating in the promotion include the Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Yokohama Vivre, Machida Modi, Sendai Parco, Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi, Shinsaibashi, and Fukuoka Parco locations. The Danboard food items are based on the famous character’s appearance, and include Danboard mille-feuille and Danboard mini chocolate-banana and raspberry parfaits. Drinks include Yotsuba-themed milk and Yanda banana juice.

Admission to the restaurant, which includes use of the dessert buffet, is 1,830 yen for adults, 1,160 yen for children, and free for ages 3 and under. Prices for the Machida Modi and Shinsaibashi locations are 1,600 yen for adults on weekdays, 1,780 yen for adults on weekends and holidays, and 1,100 yen for children daily. The Danboard promotion will run until February 11th.
