Kyomaf 2016 Main Visuals Feature “Black Butler”, “The Seven Deadly Sins”, “Bungo Stray Dogs”, “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness”
Kyomaf 2016’s main visuals feature popular manga and anime series.
Main visuals have been released for the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2016, one of western Japan’s biggest manga and anime events, scheduled to be held in Kyoto on September 17th and 18th.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the event, also known as Kyomaf, the main visuals feature famous Kyoto landmarks paired with characters from anime and manga series “Black Butler”, “The Seven Deadly Sins”, “Bungo Stray Dogs”, and “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness”. The images were created to promote both the popular series and the historic tourist destinations.
The main visual pairings include “Black Butler” characters Sebastian and Ciel at Fushimi Inari-taisha, Atsushi Nakajima from “Bungo Stray Dogs” in the Sagano Bamboo Forest, “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness” main character Hozuki at Nison-in, and Gowther from “The Seven Deadly Sins” on Philosopher’s Walk.
In addition to being used online, the images will also be used at local Kyoto establishments and events to promote Kyomaf 2016. A second wave of main visuals will be released in mid-July.
