One Piece Gender-Swapped Figure Series Adds Female Luffy
“I.R.O” Monkey D. Luffy figure
Figure and model company MegaHouse will be releasing a gender-swapped figure of One Piece character Luffy as a woman.
The figure is the second entry in the “I.R.O” subseries, following a previous release of Trafalgar Law. The series depicts One Piece characters as their opposite gender.
The upcoming Luffy figure reproduces every aspect of the energetic character, including his trademark straw hat, red shirt, yellow waistband, and chest scar, but transforms his blue pants into a denim miniskirt and adds bright pink nail polish. True to the figure series, the well-endowed female Luffy is depicted in a cute, seductive pose, standing on her tiptoes and smiling mischievously.
The 1/8th scale figure measures approximately 21 centimeters tall, and retails for 9,900 yen, tax included. Preorders are currently running, and orders will ship in late October.
