Ueno Attack on Titan Exhibition Also Coming to Oita and Osaka

The Attack on Titan exhibition currently running at Tokyo’s Ueno Royal Museum will also be coming to series creator Hajime Isayama’s hometown of Oita starting August 1st, as well as Osaka from September 11th.

The exhibition aims to draw visitors into the intense world of Attack on Titan, featuring original artwork, life-sized Titan statues, 3D videos, and more. Highlights from the Ueno exhibition include a full-scale Colossus Titan figure, original artwork created by Isayama himself, and a multi-sensory theater introduction titled “The Day Ueno Fell”. Also featured are a fully-immersive 3D theater simulator that uses 360-degree technology to allow guests to try the Survey Corps’ Vertical Maneuvering Equipment, as well as audio guides recorded by anime characters Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, and Hange.

The Ueno leg of the exhibition will run until January 25th. The Oita exhibition will be held from August 1st through 30th, and the Osaka exhibition will run from September 11th to October 18th.
