Figure and model company Kotobukiya will be releasing a figure of character Syaoran Li from famous Clamp manga series “Cardcaptor Sakura”.

Originally serialized in Kodansha’s shojo manga magazine Nakayoshi from 1996 to 2000, “Cardcaptor Sakura” was also made into anime and live action film series. The figure is the second “Cardcaptor Sakura” entry in Kotobukiya’s “ARTFX J” series, following the series’ main character, Sakura Kinomoto.

The 230-millimeter-tall figure is based on an original illustration by manga creation team Clamp, and depicts Syaoran in a fierce battle pose. The figure reflects Syaoran’s striking combination of bravery and innocence, and reproduces every detail of his clothing flowing around him. He is posed on a custom base designed to resemble his “lasenboard” magical entity-finding compass.

The figure retails for 11,000 yen, plus tax. It will be released in May 2015.
