A puzzle solving event based on anime series “Tokyo Ghoul” will be held at Animate Ikebukuro on January 25th and 31st.
The event is produced by Nazomate, a company that creates immersive puzzle solving events set in the worlds of anime series. The upcoming event, titled “Tokyo Ghoul x Nazomate”, is based on TV anime series “Tokyo Ghoul”, the second season of which will debut in January 2015.
Set in a version of Tokyo where humans and ghouls exist side by side, the event will let participants follow original stories on both the human and ghoul sides. The human side will take place on January 25th, while the story following the ghouls will be held on January 31st. Each day will contain a different story and set of puzzles.
The events will be held each day at 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 4:00 PM, and 6:30 PM. Voice actors from the anime series will also be participating in the events, with Natsuki Hanae (playing the role of main character Ken Kaneki) and Toshiyuki Toyonaga (playing Hideyoshi Nagachika) making appearances at various times throughout each day. Participants will receive a sugar cube from fictional coffee shop Anteiku, as well as a limited-edition “Tokyo Ghoul x Nazomate” metal pin upon completing the event.
Advance tickets for the event will cost 1,500 yen, and admission the day of the event will cost 1,800 yen.
