Additional Performances, New Program Announced for Touhou Project Orchestral Concert

Video game music orchestra JAGMO will be holding “Gensokyo Orchestra: Bullet Hell Rondo”, a symphonic concert of music from doujin game series Touhou Project, on October 1st at Tokyo Opera City.

The group performed its first Touhou Project concert in May, with the game series’ devoted fanbase leading to tickets selling out almost instantaneously. The upcoming concert will include different arrangements of pieces from the previous performance, as well as new pieces such as “Cinderella Cage: Kagome-Kagome” and “Touhou Youyoumu: Ancient Temple”.

Performances will be held in both the afternoon and evening. The afternoon performance will start at 2:00 PM, while the evening performance will take place at 6:00 PM, with doors opening an hour before each performance.

Ticket prices differ based on seat quality. “Gensokyo’s Seat” (SSS-class seat) tickets are 9,900 yen, “Perfectly Elegant Seat” (SS seat) tickets are 9,800 yen, “Seat of Knowledge and Shadow” (S seat) tickets are 8,900 yen, “Extremely Ordinary Seat” (A seat) tickets are 7,900 yen, “Strange Seat Floating in the Sky” (B seat) tickets are 6,800 yen, “Eternally Red Seat” (C seat) tickets are 5,800 yen, and “Half-Fantastical Seat” (P seat) tickets are 5,500 yen.
