Starting on October 3rd, J-World Tokyo, the Jump-themed amusement park located in Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City, will be running a Halloween event based on manga series “Kuroko’s Basketball”.

The amusement park, celebrating characters from popular publications Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump SQ, features areas based on series such as One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Kuroko’s Basketball, Gin Tama, and the Prince of Tennis, among others. The entertainment complex aims to give visitors a chance to experience the worlds of their favorite characters and series.

The current event features super-deformed characters from Kuroko’s Basketball in a variety of merchandise and scenery, as well as a unique food and dessert menu. In addition, the normal Kuroko’s Basketball area has been transformed for Halloween, with attractions featuring original dialogue recorded by the anime series’ voice actors, character Atsushi Murasakibara added to a display of famous scenes from the series, and a trick-or-treating event. The nearby Sunshine 60 skyscraper will also feature a Kuroko’s Basketball exhibition until November 3rd.

Admission to J-World Tokyo is 800 yen for high school students and older, 600 yen for children, and free for ages 4 and under. Hours of operation are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The Kuroko’s Basketball Halloween event will run until November 3rd.
