“Parasyte” Migi Plush Doll and Hand Puppet Coming Soon

Toy and figure company Takara Tomy Arts will be releasing officially licensed merchandise based on character Migi from manga series “Parasyte”.

Written by Hitoshi Iwaaki, science fiction manga series “Parasyte” tells the story of high school student Shinichi Izumi and the parasite named Migi that lives in his right hand. It will be adapted into an anime series this year, and the first installment of a live-action movie series will be released in Japanese theaters this December.

Takara Tomy Arts will be releasing a Migi hand puppet and a life-sized (28 centimeters tall) Migi plush doll. The puppet will retail for 1,800 yen, plus tax, and will be released in late July, while the plush doll will cost 2,300 yen, plus tax, and will go on sale in late August.
