“Knights of Sidonia” Exhibition Now Open at Tower Records Shibuya

Tower Records in Shibuya is now displaying an exhibition based on anime series “Knights of Sidonia”, currently being broadcast on Japanese TV.

The exhibition, titled “Knights of Sidonia: The World of Tsutomu Nihei”, features numerous items never before seen publicly, including animation cels and production documents, a prescoring script, replica training uniforms, and statues created by the pro modelers at Dengeki Hobby Magazine. The event also features an original animation by anime production company Polygon Pictures being screened in 5.1 surround sound, an exhibition of the 3D modeling data used for the series, and limited edition merchandise for sale.

Admission to the exhibition, located on the 8th floor of Tower Records Shibuya, is 500 yen. While supplies last, attendees will also receive a limited edition sticker. Local ticket sales opened on June 7th.

The event will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with last entrance at 8:30. It will run until June 29th.
