An exhibition based on popular TV anime series “Kill la Kill” is currently running at anime merchandise retailer Gee! Store Osaka Annex. A mini-exhibition is also being held at the Gee! Store in Fukuoka.

The Osaka exhibition will feature deleted scenes, background artwork, production documents, storyboards, and more, as well as one of only two existing official, life-sized replicas of the series’ famous weapon, the Scissor Blade.

The Osaka and Fukuoka exhibitions will also include advance sales of official “Kill la Kill” merchandise. March 14th will mark the release of drinking glasses featuring artwork from famous scenes mixed with lyrics from the background music, such as the “Ryuko Matoi Glass” and the “Honnouji Academy Student Council Glass” (both 1,000 yen, plus tax). The 22nd will see the release of even more merchandise, such as the “Senketsu Hooded Sweatshirt”, which is designed to resemble main character Ryuko’s living school uniform (5,000 yen, plus tax); the “Kill la Kill Long-Sleeved T-Shirt”, which displays the Scissor Blade possessed by characters Ryuko and Nui (3,900 yen, plus tax); and the “Honnouji Academy Silicone Pass Case”, a case for train passes that features a replica of a student train pass from the series on one side and artwork of Satsuki Kiryuin and the Honnouji Academy Elite Four on the reverse side (1,200 yen, plus tax). In addition, purchases of at least 1,000 yen worth of “Kill la Kill” merchandise will be accompanied by a free, promotional postcard, while supplies last.

Admission to the event is free. It will run until April 6th.
