To promote the February 8th release of theatrical anime film “Tiger & Bunny: The Rising”, an exhibition showcasing the anime series will be held in Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Tokyo.

“Tiger & Bunny” was broadcast as an anime series in 2011, and featured character design by manga artist Masakazu Katsura. The first theatrical movie based on the series, “Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning”, was released in 2012. The story of “TiBunny”, as the series is called by Japanese fans, is continued in a second anime film, “Tiger & Bunny: The Rising”, released on February 8th, 2014.

The exhibition, titled “The World of Tiger & Bunny”, is being created under the supervision of series production company Sunrise, and aims to showcase the culmination of the entire “Tiger & Bunny” project. It will cover the history of the franchise, from its inception to present day, and will feature original artwork, production documents, photographs from the series’ creation, and more.

Other highlights will include a full-size replica of the Double Chaser motorcycle, a collection of superhero costumes, a special “Tiger & Bunny” figure exhibit, and limited edition merchandise for sale. An additional event to be held on March 30th will feature an appearance by voice actor Hiroaki Hirata, who portrays “Tiger & Bunny” main character Kotetsu T. Kaburagi.

The event will be held at the Umeda Sky Building in Osaka on March 22nd to 30th, the Nagoya TV Tower on April 5th to 20th, Fukuoka’s Nishitetsu Hall on May 3rd to 25th, and at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in Tokyo on June 24th to July 6th. Ticketing information and other details are available at the event’s web site.
