“Devilman Crybaby” Events and Collaborations Announced

New events and collaborations have been announced for “Devilman Crybaby,” the anime series based on Go Nagai’s “Devilman” manga.

Streamed exclusively on Netflix in 190 countries, the anime series will receive a Blu-ray box set release on May 30th. To promote the release, all 10 episodes will be screened back-to-back during a special event at Shinjuku Wald 9 on May 25th and 26th.

The first day of the screening will feature a talk event starting at 6:00 PM with series stars Koki Uchiyama and Megumi Han. The next day will consist of an all-night screening of every episode starting at midnight. Attendees will also receive exclusive stickers and a booklet commemorating the box set’s release.

On May 23rd through June 17th, Tower Records Shibuya will be hosting “Devilman Crybaby Sabbath Shibuya,” an exhibition and pop-up store based on the world of the anime series. In addition to exclusive gifts for attendees, visitors will be able to view one-of-a-kind exhibits and purchase limited-edition merchandise.

Shinjuku clothing store Beams Japan will also be hosting a “Devilman Crybaby” pop-up store. Limited-edition merchandise will be available for purchase, and items from the “Devilman Crybaby x Beams x Natalie Store” collaboration will be on display.

Another promotion is planned with auto manufacturer Mitsuoka Motors, seen in the series being driven by character Ryo Asuka. Finally, a special video has been released detailing the bonus footage that will be included in the “Devilman Crybaby” box set when it releases on May 30th.


Exclusive merchandise will also be available from Tower Records.
