An event based on anime series “Laid-Back Camp” is being held at the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park on April 28th through May 27th.

The event, titled “Laid-Back Camp in Fuji-Q Highland – Episode 229: Mount Fuji, the Shouting, and the Beautiful View,” brings the camping anime series to its real-world setting of Yamanashi Prefecture, the home of Fuji-Q Highland and Mount Fuji. Visitors can track down the five members of the series’ Outdoor Activities Circle as part of a stamp collecting scavenger hunt or take a ride on the Ferris wheel decorated with “Laid-Back Camp” art, among other activities.

The park will be serving refreshments found in the anime series, such as toasted marshmallows, and visitors can purchase limited-edition merchandise with exclusive artwork or an all-access day pass that comes with a clear file folder.

A variety of other Fujikyu Group promotions are planned to run during the event. The Fujikyuko Line is operating trains decorated with “Laid-Back Camp” artwork, and limited-edition train and bus passes are available for purchase. Special camping trip packages are available at a nearby campground. In addition, guests who visit select tourist attractions can receive a special postcard set.

The amusement park is open on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on weekends and national holidays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Hours may differ, and the park is closed on May 8th. Admission is 1,500 yen for adults (middle school age and older) and 900 yen for children (ages 3 to elementary school age).
