The newest entry in Kotobukiya’s “Megami Device” plastic model series of mecha girls will be Asura Ninja Aoi.

The series combines poseable bishoujo models with customizable weaponry and armor. The Asura Ninja Aoi model is built on a “machinika” base designed by Masaki Apsy, with character design by artist Nidy-2D-.

The kit includes three fully-painted facial expressions and parts to switch from the ninja-themed “armor mode” to the unarmored “body mode.” Parts can also be mixed and matched with armor from the Asura Archer figure to create the katana-wielding “samurai mode.”

The new machinika body possesses a greater range of motion, allowing for natural reproduction of complicated battle or sitting poses. The kit comes with an array of ninja weaponry, including shuriken, kunai, and katana. Each part can fit into the 3 mm holes on the figure’s body, which are also compatible with the hundreds of armor, weapon, and accessory parts in Kotobukiya’s M.S.G., Frame Arms, and Frame Arms Girl series.

The model kit retails for 5,800 yen, plus tax. It will be released in August.
