“Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World” character Rem will be the subject of an ukiyo-e woodblock print.

The print, titled “100 Views of Mt. Fuji and a Girl from Another World: Rem,” will be available in an exclusive first pressing of 100 copies. The original artwork for the print is provided by Kyuta Sakai, the anime series’ character designer, with the woodblock print created by carver Kayoko Suga and printer Kyoko Hirai, both of whom are recognized as intangible cultural assets by the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs.

The image depicts Rem dressed in a kimono patterned with morning stars, her preferred weapon, while the kimono sash depicts the weapon’s chain and the pink cord around her sash represents her trademark pink hair ornaments. The artwork is printed on top-quality Echizen washi paper, each printed by hand with authentic artisanal techniques.

The print retails for 50,000 yen, plus tax. Preorders are available via the Kadokawa Store from March 26th through May 6th. Orders will ship in June.
