Tokyo Mystery Circus

On December 19th, “Real Escape Game” creator Scrap will open puzzle-solving theme park Tokyo Mystery Circus in Kabukicho, Shinjuku.

The indoor facility will span 1,650 square meters over five floors, including one basement level, making it the largest indoor puzzle-solving theme park in Japan. Each floor will contain an array of puzzle experiences, with upwards of eight different puzzles running at any given time. New puzzles will be prepared for the theme park’s opening, which will also see the return of popular Scrap games from the past.

Located in the high-traffic area of Kabukicho, Shinjuku, the theme park also aims to draw in an international crowd with English-language games. The facility will also contain a puzzle-themed cafe and merchandise for sale.

Additional details on the theme park and its puzzle events will be announced in the near future, with a full reveal planned for early November. Tickets will go on sale on November 11th at noon.

Players will be tasked with solving real-life escape games.

Past games were held at amusement parks, among other locations.

The theme park will bring back popular games from the past.
