Game and app developer Solid Sphere has released PlayStation VR game Kaiji VR: Steel Beam Crossing of Despair via digital download.

The PlayStation VR game is based on Nobuyuki Fukumoto’s manga series “Kaiji”, focusing on the “steel beam crossing” game from the series’ “Castle of Despair” story arc. Players will take on the role of main character Kaiji, competing against Sahara, Ishida, and other characters from the series. The VR technology adds an incredible sense of realism, increasing the terror players feel during the game and drawing them into the world of the series.

The game retails for 1,800 yen, plus tax.
